A service for powdercoaters, aluminium retailers and fabricators, window manufacturers and shopfitters. A common misconception within the industry is that once powdercoated it is uneconomical to reclaim aluminium extrusion and therefore it must be scrapped...this is no longer the case.

It is more economical to strip the old coating and re-powdercoat the material to the desired colour and finish. METALSTRIP offers a stripping service designed specifically with aluminium extrusions in mind. We not only strip the powdercoat but also remove the chromate leaving the material ready for pre-treatment and re-powdercoating.

Our tanks are 7 metres in length and we can safely handle both large and small quantities. We offer a fast turnaround and a quality service. To obtain the best stripping rates it is preferable to stockpile the material to at least 500 kilograms.

METALSTRIP charges a per kilogram stripping rate. There is no need to measure the length of material or work out painted or anodised perimeters. We will weigh the material on our calibrated scales and if requested issue a printed receipt showing the total weight.
